President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday issued a republican decree entrusting the Prime Minister with some powers of the president of the republic that are mentioned in the law of public service.

These powers are associated with provisions on appointment in high ranking and distinguished posts.

Also, the decree entrusted governors as regards appointment at all civil service levels barring the high ranking and distinguished posts.

The decree was published in the official gazette.
