Sisi to be interviewed tonight on development programs, national projects

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is scheduled to give a televised interview Friday at 7:30 p.m. Cairo local time.

The interview, which will be broadcast on all Egyptian channels, comes to mark the second anniversary for Sisi in office.

According to sources in the presidential media office, the first part of the interview will tackle the June 30 Revolution and the second part will shed light on Sisi's inauguration.

The third part will probe every-day problems facing Egyptians, the sources said, adding that in this part Sisi will also review comprehensive development programs and the social aspect of development.

The fourth and fifth parts of the interview, they said, will be about the files of freedom and foreign policy respectively.

Sisi will be talking about the media and Egypt's promising future in the sixth and seventh parts of the interview, the sources further said.

They made it clear that the interview will last for one hour and 40 minutes, noting that Sisi insisted that questions not be prepared beforehand so as to have a frank and transparent interview.
