Former President Michel Sleiman said after meeting his meeting with President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Palace that "Lebanon is in crisis but things will end well."

"A neutral government of technocrats is the best solution to hold the parliamentary elections, reaffirm the Baabda Declaration and discuss the defense strategy," he said.

"The solution lies in national reconciliation, and I have presented to the President a written paper on that matter," he said
