A soldier was killed on Wednesday when a roadside bomb targeting his convoy went off west of Mosul city, Ninawi governorate, some 405 km north of Baghdad. An Iraqi security source said that a security force cordoned off the site of the explosion. The soldier's body was moved to the morgue, the source added.
