Speaker Ahmed Ibrahim Al Mulla asserted the key role of parliamentary diplomacy through effective cooperation with Bahrain’s embassies abroad in showcasing the Kingdom’s civilizational accomplishments under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Al Mulla praised Bahrain’s wise foreign policy and the government’s efforts in caring for the interests of Bahrainis abroad and boosting cooperation with sisterly and friendly countries.
The Speaker’s remarks came as he received today several ambassadors recently appointed to sisterly and friendly countries.
The ambassadors were Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah (Germany), Ibrahim Mahmoud Ahmed (Tunisia), Fouad Sadiq Al Baharna (Algeria) and Ahmed Abdullah Al Hajeri (Thailand).
The Speaker congratulated the ambassadors on the royal trust, praising their previous services in their former positions and duties, adding that their diplomatic expertise will boost cooperation in various fields and consolidate Bahrain’s international ties and care about the kingdom's citizens and interests abroad.
