An armed attack was foiled, Monday by Tunisian national guard units in the locality of Khmouda, Kasserine Governorate in west-central Tunisia, the Tunisian Interior Ministry announced.

    The group whose number is unknown, retaliated to the shots fired by the national guard and then fled away in the direction of Mount Semmama, Tunis Press Agency (TAP) quoted the Ministry as saying. No injuries or damage were reported, it added.
