Minister of State for Corruption Affairs, Nicolas Tueni, believes that "the resignation page has been folded and the period of delay is that of rationally considering the crisis and understanding what it would result in, as the resignation option would have led to sabotaging Lebanon; proof to that were the increasing Israeli threats."

"What is happening at present in Lebanon, and the annihilation of Daesh across Arab countries is disturbing Israel," he told the Voice of Lebanon - 93.3 radio station.

Tueni explained that "things are going in the right direction and any other option would lead to the loss of effort made by all components." "Ministerial reshuffling has constitutional foundations and can be done by Presidents Michel Aoun and Premier Saad Hariri," he concluded
