The Libyan government affirmed that the Tunisian authorities foiled a plot to assassinate Libyan acting Interior Minister Mustafa Dabbashi.

Meanwhile, the Tunisian Interior Ministry denied the news, saying that there was no such attempt.

Libyan government spokesman Hatem Oraibi said that there was an attempt to assassinate Dabbashi in Tunisia and the Tunisian authorities were notified of the plot and managed to foil it.
