The Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirko Sarovic, has received Saqr Nasser Al Raisi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Italy and Non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them.

Minister Sarovic praised the distinguished relations between the UAE and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are witnessing development, especially in the fields of investment and tourism. He also stressed the importance of activating bilateral relations through enhancing trade and investment exchange between the two countries.

Ambassador Al Raisi reiterated the keenness of the UAE to build external relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Both sides also discussed the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Dubai Expo 2020, where the Bosnian side was briefed on the progress of the Dubai Expo 2020 preparations, stressing the keenness of Bosnia to participate for its global importance and to promote its tourism.
