UAE Government shares working models with Arab ministers, officials

Ohoud bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness and Wellbeing, has affirmed the keenness of the UAE Government, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to strengthen cooperation, partnership and exchange of knowledge and expertise with various countries.

The minister's remarks came during a meeting with a number of Arab ministers and officials, who are visiting the UAE as part of the Arab Conference on Administrative Reform and Development, where they were briefed on the UAE Government's business models, future objectives, achievements, and key initiatives and strategies in the innovation, services, performance management, and capacity building categories.

"The government adopts business models and services based on the promotion of innovation, efficiency and readiness for the future, as well as the development of proactive solutions to overcome challenges. We welcome neighbouring Arab governments to make the most out of these models to attain progress in their development programmes and services," Al Roumi said.

Ministers and officials attending the meeting hailed from Egypt, Sudan, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia. They listened to a presentation detailing the UAE Vision 2021 National Agenda, and learned about the experience of the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation, along with other prominent strategies and policies.

The delegation also visited the headquarters of the Government Accelerators, a UAE Government approach that seeks to accelerate the achievement of the national agenda of the vision.
