Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi Al Falasi, the UAE Minister of State for Defence Affairs, participated today in the GCC Defence Ministers' meeting with the US Secretary of Defence, Ashton Carter, held in Al-Diriyah Palace in Riyadh.

The defence ministers discussed, ahead of the GCC Leaders' meeting with US President, Barack Obama, the huge challenges facing the region and world, and ways to strengthen co-operation and international efforts to eradicate the menace of terrorism and criminal organisations that threaten the world's security and stability.
