H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, gained on Tuesday insights from Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of State for Tolerance, about the National Tolerance Programme.

''The UAE is now a role model for tolerance and peaceful co-existence,'' said H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla.

Sheikha Lubna informed H.H. Sheikh Saud about the programme's seven main pillars: Islam, UAE Constitution, Zayed's Legacy and Ethics of the UAE, International Conventions, Archeology and History, Humanity, and Common Values.

Sheikh Saud praised efforts being made by Sheikha Lubna and her team to promote the UAE message on tolerance, centrism, moderation and peaceful coexistence.

''The UAE sets a bright example as a capital of tolerance, hosting more than 200 nationalities, living and working in an unparalleled environment of harmony, peace and peaceful co-existence,'' Sheikha Lubna said.
