The World Green Economy Summit 2017, WGES, to be held on 24th and 25th October, will focus on the vital role of innovation and new technologies in transforming the green economy and ensuring a sustainable future.

Under the patronage of the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the summit will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is organised by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, and World Green Economy Organisation, in cooperation with Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and WETEX.

The summit will discuss innovative technological solutions for clean energy that will enhance the efficiency and reliability of the green economy, and promote the components of a transition to a green economy, especially the vital role of digital transformation and its impact on various economic, social and environmental aspects.
