The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has provided food parcels and winter clothes to a number of Syrian families, who are living in random tents in Mafraq Governorate, Jordan.
The foundation has also provided medical care to these refugees at the UAE-Jordanian field hospital.
Director of the Emirati-Jordanian Camp, Abdullah Al Mehrezi said," ERC visits the underprivileged and needy families at their residences and provide aid for them in implementation to the Year of Giving initiative, launched by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
"Today, we have decided to provided assistance to these families including medical treatment, food aid and winter clothes," he added.
Al Mehrezi extended thanks to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Supreme Council Members, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent for their directives to provide aid to the needy people across the globe.
