The Zayed Giving Initiative has launched an Emirati-Egyptian field hospital in Al Sharqiya governorate, northern Egypt, to provide best diagnostic, treatment and preventive services to children and elderly patients.
The hospital, launched under a humanitarian giving campaign, is a joint initiative by the Zayed Giving Initiative, Dar Al Ber Association, Sharjah Charity House and the Saudi-German Hospitals Group, in coordination with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the UAE Embassy in Egypt.
The Zayed Giving Initiative’s mission in Egypt is being implemented as part of a UAE-Egyptian volunteer medical programme, which aims to strengthen the culture of volunteering and humanitarian giving, while providing the best free medical services through the deployment of several volunteer mobile field hospitals and clinics in various Egyptian governorates.
Dr. Adel Al Shameri, CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative and President of UAE Doctors, said, that the Zayed Giving Convoys will continue their humanitarian missions and projects in Egyptian governorates, while praising the efforts of the volunteer medical and surgical personnel from the UAE and Egypt, describing them as models of humanitarian giving.
