Critic Fathi Al-Ashri said that, “Raafat El Hagan” has its unique feature, as it took years to be prepared after writer Saleh Morsy presented it as a novel in “Al Ahram” newspaper, adding that, part of its success was due to the government’s support for the series.
Critic Mohamed El Shafei said that, there were some successful series after El Hagan like, The Fox and Agent 1001, adding that “Raafat El Hagan” was an epic and shouldn’t be compared with any other drama.
Actor Fathi Abdel Wahab said that aome series managed to rise like “Falling in beat well”, “Birds fly towards east” in which he took part with Nourhan, also “Abed Kerman” and “Spies’ War”.
While writer, Magdy Saber said that, there were respectful attempts in this type of drama, but “Raafat El Hagan” was the first series to discuss a General Intelligence’s file, and the audience really connected with the characters over 5 years.
