Egyptian actor Ahmed Adam expressed his discontent from the offensive campaign held by some members of the parliament against his new film "Armouti on the line of fire", as they accused him of being a disservice to the people of Matrouh, even after they watched it in a special screening for them and made sure that the film is free of any abuse. The parliamentarians filed a complaint against Adam to the Attorney General.
Adam said in an interview with "Arabs Today" that he had received a tribute from the people of Matrouh, where he has a relationship of friendship with some of the people of the population of Matrouh. He added that he was "hoping MPs perform their role rather what accuse me that I have been abused to the people of Matrouh and pay attention to the establishment of the role of cinema and theater to the people of the province, as well as I am sad because there are deputies represent me under the dome, such as director Khaled Youssef did not defend me in this vicious attack suffered by" .
He noted that he aimed to present the same film about succession in 2010, but the revolution bring it down. Then, he wondered if "Daesh" theme and terrorist operations carried out by this organization, as it stands behind the United States and discuss with authors Mohammad Nabavi and Alaa Hassan.
Adam said he faced many difficulties during the filming of the movie "Armouti" including the difficulty of extracting shooting permits in the desert areas and Ain Sukhna and the Siwa Oasis, in addition to high temperature during the filming in the summer.
