A Saudi company has made an offer to invest in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone Ahmed Darwish said on Friday.
Negotiations are underway with Italy to establish a petrochemical complex in Ain Sukhna with total investments of 5.3 billion dollars, Darwish added.
The authority is currently discussing prospects of cooperation with seven banks, he said, adding that several Arab investors are also willing to pump investments into the Suez Canal Economic Zone in the coming period.
