Three warplanes carried out eight raids on areas in Raqqa province and its vicinity, SOHR noted in a press statement, adding that raids targeted Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) strongholds.
The targeted strongholds were located at the Finance Building, which is an Islamic court affiliated to ISIL, Al-Andalos Bakery, Al-Talae' Camp, a center of training for ISIL fighters, Al-Sawame' Roundabout vicinity, the power plant vicinity in Al-Faruseyyi, and Al-Ta'mir Building in Al-Der'eyyi district of Raqqa, said the statement.
Meanwhile, SOHR pointed out that reconnaissance aircraft were also seen flying over the attacked areas on Friday and ISIL fighters opened fire on it without being able to hit it.
