Israelis watch the smoke rising from a gas station

Thirty-two Israelis were injured on Tuesday after a rocket, fired on Israel from the Gaza Strip, hit a house in Asqalan, Israeli radio reported.
The radio added that rocket fire on Israel from the besieged enclave had resumed Tuesday morning following a quiet night.
"The Israeli defense system, or what is called 'The Iron Dome,' intercepted a rocket over the greater Tel Aviv area," the station noted.
A number of rockets exploded in an open area belonging to the Eshkol Regional Council, with no injuries or damages reported, the station reported.
