Suicide bomber blew himself up close to a NATO convoy in eastern Afghanistan

A suicide bomber blew himself up close to a NATO convoy in eastern Afghanistan Friday, killing four people, officials said.

The attack took place in Jalalabad city in Nangarhar province.

"Four people have been killed and 13 injured, all civilians," said a provincial health official.

Police confirmed the attack, but did not know if there were casualties among the foreign troops.
