The US-led forces have conducted 39 air strikes in Iraq against the Daesh terrorist groups, the BBC News said.

In a statement, the Combined Joint Task Force leading the air operations said it stepped up its attacks targeting 67 sites in Iraq during the air attacks in parallel with the operations led by the Iraqi army on the ground.

On Tuesday, the US army said it led 20 air strikes coming near the Anbar provincial capital Ramadi and Falluja.

The US army said also it launched seven attacks.
