Aqsa Mosque guards expelled on Tuesday a group of Israeli settlers during their attempt to perform their religious rituals.

Eyewitnesses said the mosque guards forced Israeli police personnel accompanying the settlers out of the holy shrine amid a state of tension.

Meanwhile, Israeli settlers continued to storm into Aqsa Mosque and worshipers confronted them with Takbir.

The Awqaf ministry said it is fully prepared to back preventing settlers from performing their prayers and rituals.
