The Saudi-led Arab airstrikes on Saturday hit the Houthi-controlled Al Anad Air Base in the southern Lahej province, 35 miles north of the newly captured Aden.
Local sources asserted that around 47 Huthi militants were held captive after clashes near the air base.
Saudi Arabia, spearheading a coalition of nine Arab states, began launching airstrikes in neighboring Yemen on March 26, 2015 after the Huthi militants controlled a large swath of the country
