Arab League chief Nabil el Araby on Wednesday stressed the importance of a nuclear deal reached between Iran and major world powers.
"The deal is an important step towards declaring the Middle East a region free from weapons of mass destruction including nuclear weapons," Arabi said in a statement.
He hoped the deal will boost peace and stability in the Middle East.
But he called on the international community to put pressure on Israel to join the Treaty of the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
