Clashes erupted on Thursday between dozens of Palestinian youth and Israeli forces near Joseph's Tomb east of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinians suffocated by teargas bombs fired by Israeli forces.

Meanwhile, a number of settlers arrived to Joseph's Tomb while Israeli military vehicles stormed the area, Palestinian sources said.

The forces closed the streets surrounding the tomb to secure the entry of the settlers.
