Dailies Highlight Israeli Forces’ Killing of Palestinian after Alleged Stabbing Attack

The three Palestinian dailies focused on the Israeli forces’ killing of a Palestinian teenager,after he allegedly stabbed and injured an Israeli soldier near al-Ibrahimi mosque in Hebron.

Abdallah al-Ajloni, 18, was shot dead by Israeli soldiers near al-Ibrahimi mosque in Hebron on Saturday.

The dailies also focused on the funeral procession of another Palestinian who was shot dead by Israeli forces on Friday, following a similar alleged attack, at Gush Etzion junction, near the West Bank district of Hebron.

Al-Quds said three Palestinians were injured during Israeli military raids into the Bethlehem village of Taqou’, and Jenin’s town of Y’abad, where forces conducted arrest and summon campaigns.

Al-Quds and Al-Ayyam reported that members in the US Congress prevented the transfer of $159 million in aid to the Palestinian Authority.

Al-Quds and Al-Ayyam reported that a Kuwaiti newspaper said Hamas faction and Egypt reached a written agreement to help resolve their dispute.

Al-Ayyam and Al-Hayat Al-Jadida reported that freed prisoner, Ahmad Younes, 43, died after a long battle with cancer.
