Families of the Lebanese pilgrims who were abducted in Syria blocked Tuesday roads leading to Baabda Presidential Palace, under heavy security measures. The families carried a Christmas tree decorated with photos of the kidnapped. They also carried banners demanding the release of their family members. They also declared that they would file a suit against the Turkish state at the High Commission for Human Rights in Europe. Presidential guards are currently holding discussions with the protestors to reopen the roads. However, talks continue to yield no results.
