Gaza families visit relatives in Israeli Nafha jail

Israeli forces allowed Monday scores of families of Gaza prisoners to visit their relatives in the Israeli prison of Nafha.

Sixty-seven families of prisoners including 19 children headed for the Gaza Strip via Erez crossing to visit 37 detainees in Nafha jail, Spokesperson of of International Committee of the Red Cross Soheir Zakout said in a press statement.

As many as 7,000 Palestinian detainees are held in 22 Israeli jails, including 300 from Gaza Strip, who are sentenced to long imprisonment terms.
