Islamic Hamas movement, which rules the Gaza Strip, and the Islamic Jihad praised the truck ramming attack in Jerusalem, which killed at least four Israelis and wounded 11 others.
Hazem Qassem, Hamas spokesman in Gaza said in an emailed press statement that the occupation policies won't break "our people's determination to carry on with their resistance."
Hamas didn't claim responsibility for the truck ramming attack, but blessed it in an official leaflet emailed to reporters.
The Islamic Jihad, based in Gaza, didn't claim responsibility for the attack, and said in an emailed press statement that "the attack is a natural reaction to the crimes of the Israeli occupation against our people."
Since October 2015, a wave of tension between Israel and the Palestinians has been going on. Figures show that 348 Palestinians and 46 Israelis were killed since then.
