Ezzeddin al-Qassam, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for shelling Tel Aviv and Ashdod in response to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
In a military statement on Tuesday, the group said that it shelled Tel Aviv with home-made M75 missile and Ashdod with five Grad rockets.
The bombardment came after a speech delivered by the general commander of al-Qassam, in which he said there would be no cease-fire with the Israeli occupation unless the aggression on Gaza stopped and the blockade was lifted.
