Hamas movement

The Hamas movement asserted on Friday that it will no disclose any information about two Israelis who were held captive in the Gaza Strip before Israel releases Palestinian prisoners who were supposed to be freed as part of the Shalit swap deal.

In statements today, Hamas Political Bureau member Mahmoud al Zahar said that Israel should abide by the previous agreements.

The Israeli authorities had rearrested 70 prisoners and retried 34 of them following the kidnapping and killing of three Israeli settlers in the West Bank city of Hebron in June 2014, according to statistics provided by the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs.

Israel has held Hamas responsible for the fate of the two Israeli citizens believed to be held hostage in Gaza.
