Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday overnight have carried out a wide raid and arrest campaign in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
A press release issued by the Israeli army said its forces arrested four wanted Palestinian citizens in the West Bank and transferred them to a Shin Bet interrogation center.
Local sources, for their part, affirmed that an Israeli military force kidnapped three teenagers under age 18 during violent raids on homes in Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem city.
In Hebron, one citizen was taken prisoner during an IOF campaign.
In Occupied Jerusalem, Israeli police kidnapped five Palestinians from their homes in Silwan district, south of the Aqsa Mosque.
In Qalqiliya city, Israeli troops raided at dawn several homes, which triggered violent clashes with local young men.
Local sources said that soldiers confiscated some security camera equipment and recordings during their campaign in the city.
The sources expressed their belief that the Israeli army seeks to identify the Palestinians who opened fire at soldiers in a nearby checkpoint area on Tuesday.
