A Palestinian girl was shot dead by Israeli troops overnight near a military checkpoint at the entrance to the villages of Beit Ur al-Tahta and Fawqa, southwest of Ramallah. 
  The Israeli occupation forces shot and injured on of two girls while trying to arrest them after allegedly attempting to stab an Israeli soldier, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA). 
The second girl was later arrested and taken in for interrogation by Israeli forces
