Iran denied Saturday it has agreed during nuclear negotiations with the P5+1 group to reduce number of centrifuges to 7,000, official news agency (IRNA) reported.
It quoted a source it described as anonyumous and close to the nuclear negotiation as denying any agreement between Iran and the P5+1 group to reduce the number of centifuges.
"There is so far no agreement over issues being discussed with the P5+1 group," he said.
The source was reacting to a report by Almonitor news website, which quoted an unnamed Iranian source as saying the Islamic Republic approved to cut the centifuges' number to 7,000.
Iran and the P5+1 group - five permanent UN Security Council (UNSC) members plus Germany - are negotiating ways of scaling down the Iranian uranium enrichment capabilities in return of easing of sanctions against Tehran
