Hundreds of Iranians staged a rally in Tehran on Tuesday to protest against Israeli attacks on the Palestinians in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, Tasnim news agency reported.
The rally was held in front of the UN office in the capital Tehran, and protesters chanted various slogans including "U.S. and Europe are supporters of the Zionists (Israel)," and "U.S. weapons are killers of children."
Iran's Foreign Ministry on Monday condemned Israel's continuing military strikes on the Gaza Strip as "crimes against humanity."
Earlier this month, Israel launched a large-scale offensive on the Gaza Strip called Operation Protective Edge, where its war jets and drones carried out hundreds of airstrikes on various banks targets belong to Hamas.
Gaza health ministry said in an emailed press statement that the death toll since last Tuesday in the Gaza Strip climbed to 192 killed, while around 1,400 people were wounded.
