Israeli authorities allowed Monday scores of families of prisoners from the Gaza Strip to visit their relatives in Eishel prison in southern Israel.

Twenty family members of captives including six children went to visit nine prisoners in Eishel prison, Spokesman of international Committee of the Red Cross Soheir Zaqout said in a press statement.

There are 6,500 Palestinian prisoners in the Israel jails including 400 from the Gaza Strip.
