Blows up

Israeli forces blew up early Thursday the house of Palestinian captive Ragheb Elwi in the West Bank City of Nablus.

Israeli troops blew up the house and demolished it in about three hours, Elwi's cousin told MENA on Thursday.

Israeli forces and youths in the area engaged in skirmishes before blowing up the house, but Israeli forces fired rubber bullets against the youths, leaving behind casualties.

Elwi's family and neighbors were moved away from the house before demolishing it.

Israel accuses Elwi of being in charge of a Hamas military cell that targeted Israeli army and settlers in the northern West Bank.

In November, Israeli forces destroyed the houses of three people alleged to be members at the cell; namely captives Karam el Masry, Yehia al Haj and Samir al Kosa.
