Israel carries out arrest campaigns in WB, East Jerusalem

Israeli forces on Tuesday staged arrest campaigns in different parts of the West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem.

Israeli forces arrested a released Palestinian prisoner and two youths from Dheisheh refugee camp and Tuqu’ town in Bethlehem, south the West Bank, and detained four more from Nablus, north the West Bank, Palestinian sources said.

A large military unit of over 100 soldiers raided Shuafat refugee camp in the center of occupied East Jerusalem, the sources added.

Israeli bulldozers demolished four storehouses, a car repair shop and a car wash shop in Selwan town, south Al Aqsa Mosque, for being allegedly built without a license.

The forces arrested a 14-year-old teen from Isawiya village in Central East Jerusalem after storming his parents’ house.

Israel continued besieging Hebron for the second week in a row with its sand barriers and cement blocks being placed in the entrances of the towns of Sa'ir, Ash-Shuyukh, Bani Na'im and Yatta.

A Palestinian citizen was arrested by the forces in Bani Na’im after they searched a shop and several houses in Hebron, Yatta and Dura, security sources said.
