The Media General Director at the Palestinian Civil Affairs Ministry Mohamed el Mekadma announced Sunday that Israel will close crossings with Gaza Strip till Wednesday as part of the tight security measures taken on occasion of Jewish feasts.

Israel decided to close Kerem Abu Salem and Erez crossings, the US-funded Radio Sawa quoted el Mekadma as saying.

The decision excludes patients and some foreign ambassadors, he reiterated.
