The Israeli army has closed the area where the newest tunnel was discovered, turning it into a closed military zone.

The area which was closed down stretches from route 232 to the Gaza border fence, Ynet reported.

Two towns are included in this closure. Only residents of the towns will be allowed in and out of the area.
