Israeli army bulldozers Tuesday razed four Palestinian houses in Silwan neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, claiming that they had been built without a permit.
Media sources reported that a large number of Israeli troops and police escorted the bulldozers to Wadi Yasoul area, imposed a military cordon and started demolishing the houses.
Tensions ran high in the area following the Israeli violations, the sources added.
