A Palestinian man inspects al-Aqsa Martyrs mosque destroyed

Since the Israeli war on Gaza Strip began on July 7, Israeli warplanes have continued to destroy mosques on daily basis hitting mosques directly with tonnes of explosives that reduce them to rubble.
According to latest statistics quoted by the Palestinian news agency "WAFA", at least 261 mosques have been destroyed in the past fifty days of Israeli onslaught by land, from the sea and airstrikes in addition to one church and twelve cemeteries in the Strip.
Several mosque imams told WAFA that Israeli F16s have destroy mosques in the wee hours of early dawn and without any prior warning by initially firing a small missile from a reconnaissance plane to be followed five minutes later or so by missiles from Israeli warplanes, WAFA reported.
