Israel detains about 800 Palestinian children annually, said the global movement for the defense of children in Palestine.
In a press release Saturday on the occasion of the Palestinian Children's Day, commemorated on April 5 each year, the movement underlined the importance of giving attention to the issue of economically using children and implementing obligations mentioned in the Palestinian child law and the child rights agreement.
The Palestinian children are still suffering from a difficult situation and deprived of their rights to live a secure and stable life, added the statement.
