Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Israeli occupation authority has planted fake Jewish tombs around Al Aqsa mosque on Palestinian lands it seized in the occupied holy city of Jerusalem.
Head of the Committee for the Caring of Islamic Cemeteries in Jerusalem Mustafa Abu Zahra on Monday said in a statement that workers from the Jerusalem Municipality had recently placed the "Star of David" on seven fake tombs near the southern wall of the mosque along with the Hebrew inscription "Jewish Cemetery." Abu Zahra added that Israel had planted these fake tombs on 34 dunums of Palestinian Waqf land seized in Jerusalem with the aim of building Jewish cemeteries.
Head of the Islamic Awqaf Council in Jerusalem Sheikh Abdul Atheem Salhab stressed that these fake tombs come as part of Israel's ongoing Judaisation policy toward Al-Aqsa Mosque and the rest of the Palestinian lands, with the intention of gaining complete control over the holy Islamic shrines.
Salhab highlighted Jordan's efforts to stop Israel's attacks against Islamic holy sites.
