The Israeli army has called 16,000 reservists to join tens of thousands of Israeli soldiers who have been recruited to fight in Gaza.
An Israeli military source said that the mobilisation of more reservists and resorting to the United States to supply the needs of the Israeli army for ammunition are part of preparations aimed to continue the battle in Gaza Strip.
