Israeli arrests 2 Palestinians

The Israeli army arrested on Saturday two Palestinians after they crossed the security fence installed around the besieged Gaza Strip.

The two Palestinians were arrested after they sneaked into Eshkol settlement through the security fence, Palestinian sources said.

No arms were found with them, and they were referred to Shabak for interrogation, the Israeli media reported.

Infiltration attempts from Gaza into Israel have increased recently, as people were trying to find job opportunities amid rising unemployment, poverty and tough economic conditions of the Gazans due to the Israeli blockade on the coastal enclave.
