An Israeli delegation arrived in Cairo on Tuesday from Tel Aviv for a quick visit to Egypt to hold talks with Egyptian officials on a permanent truce in the Gaza Strip.
The delegation groups three top Israeli officials.
A 72-hour cease-fire mediated by Egypt came into effect on Tuesday as a first step towards the beginning of negotiations on an end to a month-long Gaza war.
