Israeli soldiers on Sunday arrested15 Palestinians in the West Bank, according to Palestinian sources.
The sources reported that Israeli soldiers stormed the West Bank cities of Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, Jenin and Tulkarem and arrested the citizens.
Israeli occupation forces launch almost daily search-and-arrest raids in which dozens of citizens and activists are rounded up.
Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers plowed agricultural lands and uprooted olive trees in Kifl Hares village north of Salfit near an electrical power plant built for settlers.
A statement from the Kifl Hares Council said that bulldozing Palestinian lands aimed at expanding the settlers’ electric power plant in order to provide power to Ariel, the second-largest settlement in the West Bank.
Israeli bulldozers uprooted and damaged a number of olive trees planted by Palestinian’s ancestors hundreds of years ago, the statement said, adding that stealing Kifl Hares’ lands, as well as the rest of the towns and villages in the area aims at expanding the 21 Israeli settlements located in Salfit.
