Israeli occupation forces arrested nine Palestinians from different parts of the occupied West Bank (WB), the Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement on Wednesday.

The arrests took place in Ramallah and al Bireh, Bethlehem and Al Quds governorates, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) quoted the statement as saying.

Meanwhile, the Israeli troops opened heavy machine-gun fire at farmers in Gaza and Khan Younis cities, with no casualties reported, the statement added.
